  1. Do you charge tuition?

    Tuition to attend the Trinity Preschool for the 2019-20 academic year is $2,611 per semester; however, Trinity Preschool’s mission is to provide a tuition-free or low-tuition, high-quality early development education program for families who wish to enroll their 3 – 4 year old children. Therefore, Pre-K Scholarships are available for children of families with combined income of $85,000 or less through the preschool’s Educational Investment Tax Credit (EITC) program. Eligible families are required to fill out application forms with which the preschool can help.

  2. What is my donation used for?

    The Preschool curriculum is inspired by “Constructivist” priciples which hold that children learn best by doing. Our teachers aim to provide a stimulating environment that inspires children to ask questios and become active learners. Your donation will go toward supplies to provide a challenging and fun environment such as: creative arts, dramatic play, sensory play, manipulatives, science, literature, music & movement.

  3. Do you provide childcare before or after school?

    Not at this time. For the fall semester beginning August 19 the Trinity Preschool will operate from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

  4. When does your semester begin and end for the fall and spring?

    Trinity Preschool follows the Harrisburg School District schedule for the first and last days of both the fall and spring semesters.

    For the 2019-20 school year, classes begin on Monday, August 19, 2019 and end on Friday, May 29, 2020

  5. What holidays is the school closed?


    Trinity Preschool generally follows the holiday schedule for the Harrisburg School District (this does not include teacher in-service days).

    For the 2020-21 school year the Preschool will be closed for the following holidays/In-service days:

    • Labor Day (Monday, September 7)
    • Columbus Day (Monday, October 12)
    • Veterans Day (Wednesday, November 11)
    • Parent/teacher conferences (Tuesday, November 24)
    • Thanksgiving Break (November 25-30)
    • Winter Break (December 23 through December 30)
    • Martin Luther King Day (Monday, January 18)
    • In-Service Day (Friday, February 5)
    • President’s Day (Monday, February 15)
    • Spring Break (Thursday, Friday & Monday, April 1, 2 & 5)
    • In-Service Day (Friday, April 23)
    • Parent/teacher conferences (Friday, May 21)
    • Memorial Day, (Monday, May 31)
    • Last Day of School (Friday, June 4)
  6. Does my child need to be toilet trained?

    Yes. All children must be fully toilet trained and in underwear (no pull-ups) pror to being enrolled in the Trinity Preschool.

  7. Does my child have to be immunized?

    Yes. In accordance with instructions from the Department of Human Services, our facility we may not accept or retain a child at the facility for more than 60 days following the first day of attendance at the facility unless the parent provides written verification from a physician, physician’s assistant, CRNP, the Department of Health or a local health department of the dates (month, day and year) the child was administered immunization in accordance with the recommendations of the ACIP (Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices).
